A Hairy Ass...

Forget Weird Al.  Sean Morey is the King of parody songs.  I first heard of him several years ago when someone sent me The Man Song, and I was hooked.  I bought all of his CDs, and played them in my car all of the time.

When my younger son Jack was about four, I took him up to Seattle to visit my mom and sisters (William was in kindergarten then).  I was driving and Jack was asleep (or so I thought) in the carseat in back.  I slipped in one of my CDs, turned the volume down, and started listening to Sean Morey sing "A Hairy Ass" - his parody of "Aquarius".  After the song finished, Jack started singing from the back seat at the top of his lungs:

     "A HAIRY ASS!  A HAIR-REE ASS-S-S-S!!!"

I tried to tell him, "No, Jackie... it's 'Aquarius.'  You know, 'Aquarius, Aquar-ee-us!'"

"No, daddy! It's 'a hairy ass'!  Play it again! Listen again!"


Yeah, I got in a lot of trouble for that one...
