Random Status Updates

Congratulations to Team USA for beating former champions Japan to become the first nation to win three Women’s World Cups.

Wow, the US hasn’t bombed on Japan that bad since the 2012 Olympics when we netted 103 medals and Japan only got 38.

New Rule: As long as a US team is a World Cup champion, all other countries must defer to us and call it "soccer." You have to win back the naming rights to your sport, Other Countries.

It must be really tough to play a “Q” tile in Scrabble in England when you have to waste the “U” on words like “colour” and “labour”.

Here’s something to ponder: With Barack Obama soon to relinquish his role as President, America will be the first country in modern history to go back after going black.

Although Bill Cosby is no longer doing Jell-O commercials, I’m thinking he could always go to work for CapitalOne credit cards. And when he gets to the part where he says “No blackout dates,” he can give the camera a wink.
