~ The Mathematical Answer ~

The number of seconds in a minute
times the number of minutes in an hour
times the number of hours in a day
times the number of days in a year.
Therefore,
60 X 60 X 24 X 365 = 31,536,000
or, if you account for leap year
60 X 60 X 24 X 365.25 = 31,537,600

~ The TRICK Answer ~

Every month contains only two "Seconds"
(e.g. January 2nd and January 22nd)

Therefore, 2 X 12 = 24.
